This plan combines transdermal estradiol gel with 100mg oral micronised progesterone. Your exact estradiol dose is set by your Neuvia clinician based on your symptoms, medical history, and where you are in your menopause journey. Your dosage will not be a fixed amount, and will be adjusted over time as your needs change. The progesterone is included to protect the lining of your womb, which is why the two are prescribed together rather than estrogen alone.
Estradiol gel is applied once daily to clean, dry skin — usually the arms or inner thighs — and left to absorb before dressing. The progesterone is taken orally, typically at night, since it can have a mild calming effect. Your clinician will confirm the exact routine that’s right for you when your treatment is approved. A licensed Neuvia clinician reviews your health history and symptoms before anything is prescribed, and stays involved as your dose is adjusted. HRT is never dispensed without that review.
How it works
Your estrogen and progesterone levels drop during perimenopause and menopause. And that drop is what causes the hot flashes, the broken sleep, the whiplash-y moods.
HRT replaces those hormones. Estradiol handles the physical symptoms. Progesterone balances the estrogen and helps you sleep. Together they give your body back what it’s been missing.
Your estrogen and progesterone levels drop during perimenopause and menopause. And it’s that drop that you can thank for the hot flashes, the broken sleep, the days that feel harder than they should.
Progesterone has a natural calming effect on the brain, reducing nighttime wakefulness and helping you sleep through to morning.
Estradiol replaces the estrogen your body has stopped producing. Applied twice weekly to your lower abdomen or upper buttocks, the patch delivers a steady, continuous stream of estradiol directly into your bloodstream, getting to work on hot flashes, brain fog, mood swings and vaginal dryness.
Declining estrogen directly affects brain chemistry. Replacing it steadily has been shown to improve mood in 80% of women.
Declining estrogen causes your bones to lose density faster. Starting HRT has been shown to maintain bone strength and reduce the risk of osteoporosis.

Take back control with the two most studied treatments for menopause symptoms. Your Neuvia menopause consultant will tailor the dose to you and you can adjust as your body responds.

Estradiol gives your body the estrogen that started to decline during perimenopause. Applied once daily to your upper thigh, it absorbs directly into your bloodstream and gets to work on hot flashes, brain fog, mood swings and vaginal dryness.

Progesterone is the hormone that restores calm, steady and sleeping through the night. Taken as a small capsule at night, it works with your body’s natural rhythms to calm your nervous system, support deeper sleep and balance the estradiol in your plan.
